For many Chinese people, dumplings are a symbol of home and comfort, making dumpling is often a family activity particularly during Chinese New Year or other significant festivals. Family gather together to prepare the dough, mix fillings, and fold dumplings, this process fosters a sense of togetherness and is an opportunity for family bounding. It's a way for multiple generations to connect, share stories and pass down traditions. About We invite you for a journey of food, drink and happiness in Beijing. The class take place at an elegant rice wine themed studio restaurant in the Hutong near to Lama Temple and Beixinqiao, with very relaxing setting . During the class, you will learn simple recipes passed down from our mothers and grandmothers, create Chinese dumplings from scratch by yourselves. 3 type of refined rice wines from Nuoyan (a top contemporary Chinese rice wine brand) will be tasted and paired with meal.
